Why are dates on my forms appearing in US format?

Think of this scenario, the dates within the Sonia Client are all appearing in the Australian format (DD/MM/YYYY), but when you view a form or look at student timesheets in Sonia Online, the dates all appear in US format, (MM/DD/YYYY). There are three areas to check:

1. Browser region settings

The most common reason for this is your internet browser region settings. By default, these are set to the US region despite you being in Australia or New Zealand.

Changing your browser region settings will ensure the dates on your Sonia forms appear, to you as they ought. To change these region settings depends on your chosen internet browser. Google, 'change region settings in xxx' and replace xxx for the name of your browser for instructions.

2. Sonia Online default culture

You can set the available culture regions in Sonia Online and you can set the default in School Options -> Cultures as per the below screenshot.
