Sonia & ClinConnect Integration

To export and import Placements between Sonia & ClinConnect, you will need to have the Sonia File Importer setup and configured; this enables files from ClinConnect to be imported into Sonia as well as populated with Student placements.

If your Sonia File Importer is not installed, please email help@soniasupport.com and they will set it up for you.

What is ClinConnect?

ClinConnect is a web-based application used to assist Health Services (Local Health Districts and Specialty Health Networks) and Education Providers manage all student placements in health facilities located in New South Wales (NSW), Australia.

ClinConnect is used to book and manage placements in:

• Nursing & Midwifery,
• Allied Health,
• Dental & Oral Health and
• Other disciplines alligned with NSW Health services.

ClinConnect is used to record clinical placement activity for Medicine.

This document will go through the various options to import and export data between Sonia & ClinConnect.
