The Update Wizard

The Update Wizard allows you to bulk update your data from a file. It is available on the Search tab of Students, Sites and Supervisors.

Examples of how you might use this:
1. I have a spreadsheet of student codes and their Police clearance checks that I want to import
2. I have a file of Postal codes and their "remoteness" classification that I want to apply to my Sites to bulk update a custom field I have added. 

This is exactly the purpose of the Update Wizard.  As a great Sonia user once said "With great power comes great responsibility" - and this is the case with this Wizard.  If used without thought, it is possible to change or overwrite a lot of your Sonia data!
