Introduction to the Practice Incentive Program in Sonia

The Australian Medicare Practice Incentive Program is a PDF claim form that health providers such as doctors can use to claim for providing medical students experience in their practice.

In Sonia we use the timesheet module to record and authorise placements that can be claimed under the scheme.  Then doctors (using the mentor role in Sonia) can click the "PIP" button to generate a completed PIP form ready for them to send off to Medicare.
