The Check Manager is a web site used to administer and approve student check information.
So what makes this different from using Sonia to administer student checks? There are 4 advantages:
- A check manager user doesn’t need to have access to the full Sonia client and full access to student information
- A check manager user can monitor and manage checks for any student in your institution – not just a discipline at a time
- You can restrict the checks that each check manager user can see and manage. So one person might be responsible for just administering “Police clearance” checks from across the university, but has no visibility of any other checks.
- The check manager provides a robust, auditable workflow between the check administrators and the students.
